This is a logical consequence of the way in which they are defined as people who leave their country involuntarily, in contrast to other migrants who leave of their own volition. Forced to leave, they are expected to always retain their orientation, hopes, and dreams in their country of origin while the country in which they live in the interim is no more than a temporary haven. . . .
